African actors dominate new American movie, Black Panther


A new American superhero movie Black Panther is set to premiere on February 16 in Los Angeles, US. The movie is set in a fictional African Nation of 

Wakanda. It features black actors like top Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o, Zimbabwean Danai Gurira, The Last King of Scotland actor Forest Steven 

Whitaker, German-Ugandan actress Florence Kasumba and South African actor John Kani.

Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King.
